1. a.   How do I register as a Seller at Mybigorder?


  1. On your browser open mybigorder.com

  2. At the Menu bar Click - ‘Sell’

  1. It brings you here 

  • Fill in the required personal and basic information then tap on the “Register Your Shop” Button

  1. Add the logo, Meta Title, and Meta Description for your shop for easy ranking and better visibility.

  2. Apply for verification to start selling.



    B. How To Verify My Account as a Seller

    After you create your shop at Mybigorder, you will need to be verified in order to start selling.

    1. Log in to your SELLER Dashboard

    2. Click the “Verify Now” button to apply for verification.

    1. Fill in the required information and attach the documents

    1. Submit your application for verification and approval



    C. How To Upload My Products at Mybigorder

    Note: Inorder to be verified you must upload at least 3 products under your account. This is how you upload.

    1. Log in to your Seller Panel/Dashboard

    1. Go to  Products 

    1. Click Upgrade package and choose a package that fits the number of products you have - 

    For verification you can start with the FREE Package for 5 products

    Select your preferred package 

    1. Click products again which comes with the number of products you should upload for the package purchased. 

    Go to ‘Add New product’


    1. Start feeding your product details;

    Product Name, Category, Brand, unit, tags and bar code.

    1. Add Product Images;

    Remember Gallery and Thumbnail Images are A MUST. Gallery images can be as many as your product has.


    1. Next is product variations

    Enable the color button for products with different colors and select the colors from options provided and choose other attributes from the attributes section


    1. Proceed to product stock and price

    • Indicate the unit price of your product which should be the same as the variant price. 

    • If on discount select the timeline for the discount and the discount amount, either flat or percentage

    • Indicate the number in stock under quantity

    1. Update the product description, SEO Meta Tags and description so that it can rank on google then the meta image which could be the same as the thumbnail image. 

    2. Once all details are filled tap on ‘upload product’ Tab on your bottom right hand side

    1. Repeat for the next product



    C. How To Edit My Products at Mybigorder

    • To edit a product that is, update images, change price, description or any additional details you would like to add simply log in to your account, Go to products, Click on edit then select the section you want to edit.

    • To Delete a product go to the delete Icon Here



    d. How Do I purchase a Seller Package at Mybigorder

    1. On your Dashboard, go to Package on your let menu

    2. Click on packages and purchase the package you need for your products

1. What is Mybigorder Kenya: Mybigorder Kenya Marketplace is Kenya's online marketplace that focusses on local products and services to promote small businesses and vendors. One can sell both products and services. The portal is easy to use and gives you all the power.

 

2.    Easy to Purchase a Product - There are 2 ways to purchase any products. You can purchase any product by clicking on “cart” icon on the product box or you can open the product in a new tab or simply purchase without reloading the page. This gives the user comfort while adding the cart.

 

 

3.    Several Product Options to Choose from: Client has the flexibility to select based on the weight, capacity, age,

 

4.    Easy Account Creation with OTP making: Customers simply need their email or a phone number. They simply create and login using the OTP system which makes the login and registration process simpler and flawless.

 

 

5.    Customers can chat and message the seller directly: This gives the customer more freedom to speak to the seller before buying the product.

·       Customer can ask any question about a product to the seller of that product.

·       If the seller of that product is admin, then the admin will get the message against that product.

·       Customer must need to login to make any question about any product

·       Then seller/admin can answer that question from his/her panel.

·       Customer will see the answer in his panel left navigation > Conversations

·       Customer will see all questions, conversations with admin/seller will see in that page.

·       Sellers will get all messages in his panel left navigation > Conversations

·       Admin will get all messages in his panel left navigation > Conversations

 

6.    Secure and Transparent: Kenyans have longed for a more secure system when it comes to cybercrime and scammers. From login to account creation then to SSL installation the customer is always secured.

 

7.    Escrow Payment System: Our payment system uses the escrow model. An escrow is a financial arrangement where a third party holds and regulates payment of the funds required for two parties involved in a given transaction. We give 24 hours before we release money after the product is delivered.

 

8.    Multiple Payment Gateways: Clients have the option to pay via local mobile payments eg Mpesa TILL NO, Paybill Number, Airtel as well as Bank Payments, Cash on Delivery and International Payment gateways like PayPal.

 

9.    Social Media Integration: Social Media login - Google, Facebook & twitter login, social share, and seller social media pages all integrated.

Currency and Language Switcher: One can select multiple currencies and languages from the currency and language list. This means the system can be accessed and used by people with different languages and currencies.

 

10. Advanced Seller Dashboard: Comes complete seller-branded dashboard that has;

·       Seller personal Social Media pages (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram)

·       Seller Sliders (for products, offers, and brand promotion)

11. Seller Verification tag to curb scammers & comment: Sellers have to be verified before they get the tag of a Verified Seller which gives them more privileges. The verification process includes the submitted company registration certificates as well as Tax and License papers.

 

12.Seller Commissions: Admin can set the amount of percentage as seller commission or category-based commission.

 

13.Easy to use and manage wallet System: Both Customer and Seller will get these options to use the wallet for their purchases. From the “Recharge” option customer and seller will get the option to recharge money from different payment methods. The wallet can be used to do shopping. Points earned can also be converted into the wallet.

 

 

14.Easy to Create and Manage Coupon System: Before the customer can “SELECT PAYMENT OPTION”, there is an opportunity to apply COUPON to get a discount. Before “SELECT PAYMENT OPTION”, Click on “Apply Coupon Code”. Enter the right Coupon Code and click Apply. New coupons can be added by the admin and shared with Customers and Sellers. Coupon types include:


·       Product-based coupon

o   Type the coupon code

o   Select Category, Sub-category, Sub-sub-category

o   Select the Product.

o   If you want to multiple products, then just Click on “Add More”

o   Fill the Start date and End date

o   Enter the “Discount” and Select “Discount Type”

o   Click on Save.


·       Cart based coupon


·       Type the coupon code

o   Enter the minimum shopping price in “Minimum Shopping” field

o   Enter the “Discount” and Select “Discount Type”

o   Enter the “Maximum Discount Amount”

o   Enter the “Discount” and Select “Discount Type”

o   Click on Save.

 

15. Advanced Attribute Section: Filter attributes like weight, size, fabric, storage can be added by admin. A seller can always reach out for more attributes to add to them for ease of filtering and customer choices. At the time of product uploading, Vendor or Admin can use attributes for their product variations. For example, a vendor is going to upload a new product mobile.

 

Vendor has three different variation’s mobile-based on storage. For this, he just needs to select the attribute like storage and then he just puts the value like 32gb, 64gb, 128gb (attribute values in small letters and no spaces e.g. 32gb and not 32GB / 32 GB / 32 gb / 32 Gb / 32 GBs). After that, he can set the price as previously how he did.

 

16.Advance filter option: This means customers or users can search any product using attribute value. For example, Storage is an attribute and 32gb, 64gb, 128gb is the value of Storage attributes. If any user or customer wants to see the all mobile of 32gb storage he just needs to follow the below steps:

·       Users or customers just go to the product listing page.

·       There he/she will get the value of attributes at the left side below the categories list.

·       He/She needs to select 32gb and click on Apply Filter

·       He/She will get the results

 

17.SEO Settings: All seller accounts, products, categories, subcategories, sub-subcategories, brands, have SEO settings and fields i.e. meta title, meta description, and product meta image. This helps in the ranking of the products. Other SEO settings include keywords, author name, revisit time, sitemap link, description.

 

18.Multiple Product Options Including:

·       Insert a product name.

·       Select a product category, subcategory, sub-sub category

·       Select a brand.

·       Insert the product unit like pc, kg, ltr, etc. {ensure they are in small letter and singular e.g. kg and not kgs}

·       Input single/multiple words for product tag and press enter.

·       Images (can be the same image for all these or different images)

o   Main images - Preferable size 600 x 500 {enter other images to appear on gallery}

o   Thumbnail images - Preferable size 300 x 290

o   Featured - If the product will select as featured then it will appear on the featured product list.

o   Flash deal - If the product will select for the deal then it will appear there.

·       Video - Select one option from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion. Insert video link.

·       Meta tags - This section for social media sharing.

·       Meta title - Write a title that will appear on a shared link.

·       Description - Write a short description which will appear on shared link.

·       Meta image - Upload a single image for shared link.

·       Customer choice:

o   Default option is color. You can select multiple color.

o   Click on add more options. Add different choice option of the product and their values. {if an option is missing then reach out to our admin team to add it}

o   You can add more options by adding more options.

·       Price

o   Insert base price of the product {this is a must else the product will show a price of 0.00}

o   Insert the purchase price of the product. {optional and for inventory purposes}

o   Add product tax. Select “%” or “$” from right option and insert the value in the left box.

o   Discount - Add product discount (if available). Select “ % ” or “ $ ” from right option and insert the value in the left box.

o   Variant wise price - If the options are added at “customer choice” tab then this section will appear. Input the variant wise price.

·       Description - Write the description of the product. You can add any image or video in this description box.

·       Delivery / Shipping info - Add delivery / shipping cost on the field.

·       PDF specs - Pdf upload option (if available).

 

19.Easy for Sellers to Upload their Products: Registered seller will get product uploading option from their profile. The steps are below;

·       Log in to seller profile.

·       Go to left navigation bar and click PRODUCTS.

·       Click Add New.

·       Fill the text fields named Product Name, Product Category (First choose the category, then choose subcategory and sub-subcategory accordingly from the popup and confirm).

·       Product Brand (It will automatically appear), Product Unit, Product Tag,

·       Image (Main Images, Thumbnail Image, Featured, Flash Deal),

·       Video (Video from, Video URL), Me ta Tags.

·       Then fill up the Customer Choice options. Color option can be enabled or disabled.

·       Seller can also add more customer choice options by giving choice title and choice values (ex. Title: Size; Values: Small, large;) To add choice values write the value and press enter.

·       Then fill up the Price (if multiple customer choices available, seller could add variant price on the basis of customer choices and also could set stock keeping unit and quantity).

·       Fill up the Description field.

·       Click on Save.

 

20.Easy to add Flash Deals:A flash deal can only be added by the admin by following these steps,

·       Go to Flash deal from admin panel navigation

·       Click add new flash deal products button

·       Insert a Title, Background Color, Text color, Banner Image

·       Insert starting date, ending date.

·       Select products.

·       Input product wise discount type & amount.

·       Then publish the flash deal.

·       You can also make any flash deal featured & it will appear in home page after main banner section

·       Admin can edit/delete the existing deal or can publish/unpublish the deal anytime from the list.

·       You also get a link of all created flash deal. You can use those link in banners link.

 

21.Easy Product Delivery Options and Pick up points option:On product upload form seller both will get the options for delivery. The Buyer has the following options during checkout:

·       Free Delivery

·       Local Pickup with Delivery cost option (Pickup Points)

o   You need to enable pickup point to use this feature.

o   Then go to left navigation bar and click ecommerce setup > Pickup point

o   Click add new pickup point

o   Then fill the form with Name, Location, Phone, Status, Manager and hit save button.

o   Now customer can select a pickup point from enabled pickup point when he/she will purchase products.

o   And pickup point manager will get the order in his/her dashboard.

·       Flat Rate with Flat rate cost

·       Delivery Partners (Sendy, others)

 

22.Sellers can request to withdraw their money:Registered seller will get option for making withdraw money request. If he/she has money in his/her earnings balance, then he/she will be able to send withdraw request as follows:

·       Log in as a seller.

·       Go to left navigation bar and click Money Withdraw.

·       Click Send withdraw request.

Sellers withdraw request will be approved by admins by simply:

·       Go to left navigation bar and click Sellers

·       The > Sellers Withdraw Requests

·       From withdraw list click actions button. Then Pay now

·       In the modal you can change withdrawal amount and then select a payment method.

·       And finally pay button to make payment.

·       For cash payment will be done immediately and you’ve to make payment to seller manually.

·       And for other payment gateways (if seller has enabled & configured those gateways) you’ll be redirected to payment page.

·       Then you need to fill necessary fields to make the payment.

 

23.Ability for admin to bulk upload products:  To upload bulk products from admin follow the below steps:

·       First of all admin needs to login into his Admin Panel and go to the Bulk Upload menu from the left side bar.

·       Admin needs to download the Download CSV file.

·       Open the downloaded file and fill the information of products like name, category id, sub-category id, brand id, unit price etc.

·       After putting the information of all products now he needs to upload the file.

·       To upload that file, he needs to go to the Product upload sub-menu under the Bulk Upload menu.

·       There he will get the file upload form and then needs to choose the file and click on Upload button.

·       Products will be uploaded.

 

24.Seller products Bulk upload from the seller panel:To upload bulk products from seller follow the below steps:

·       First of all, the seller needs to login into his Seller Panel and go to the Bulk Upload menu from the left side bar.

·       Admin needs to download the Download CSV file.

c)    What is the Product Sharing Affiliate?

 

Answer: Productsharing affiliate is mainly if any affiliate merchant shares any specific  product’s link and using that link any user purchases that product then that affiliate merchant user will get a commission for this based on product price.

d)    What is the Category Wise Affiliate?

 

Answer: CategoryWise Affiliate is mainly if any affiliate merchant shares any productlink and using that link any user purchases that product then that affiliate merchant user will get a commission according to that product categories affiliate percentage/fixed price.

e)    How can a user become an affiliate merchant?

 

Answer: Tobecome an affiliate merchant there is two steps:Step-1:

a.     Signing up as an affiliate merchant using Affiliate Registration form.

b.     To get the Affiliate Registration form user needs to click on Be an affiliate publisher link from the topbar of the site.

c.     Fill the form with necessary information

 

d.     Click on Save.

 

Step-2:

      Signed up user needs admin approval to become an affiliate merchant.

 

                                 Affiliate merchants will get an automated generated unique code.

 

f.      What should a new affiliate merchant do after getting approval by the admin? Answer: After signing up if the new affiliate merchant gets the approval by the admin,then he/she needs to configure his/her payout. There are two way of payout:

a.     Payout using Mpesa / paypal

b.     Payout using Bank

 

g.    How does a new affiliate merchant configure payout?

 

Answer: ​To configure payout a new affiliate merchant needs to follow the below steps:

a.     First, he/she should login into his panel and go to the Affiliate System.

b.     Click on Configure Payout

c.     Fill up the Mpesa / paypal email and Bank info form

d.     Click on Update Payment Setting

 

h.    How can an affiliate merchant do the basic affiliate marketing?

 

Answer: Todo basic affiliate marketing an affiliate merchant needs to follow the belowsteps:

a.     Merchant should login into his/her panel.

b.     Go to the Affiliate System.

c.     Click on copy url and then he/she can share this url to anyone.

d.     If anyone gets registered using this link and purchases any product, the merchant will get his/her commission.

 

i.      How can an affiliate merchant do the product sharing affiliate or category wise affiliate marketing?

Answer: Todo product sharing affiliate marketing an affiliate merchant needs to follow the below steps:

a.     Visit the product details page.

 

b.     Get the auto generated & unique product link

 

c.     Then share this unique link to anyone.

 

d.     If anyone purchases that specific product using that unique link, the affiliate merchant will get his/her commission based on product price.

 

j.      How does an affiliate merchant collect the earnings?

Answer: Admin can send the earnings of an affiliate merchant using mesa / paypal and bank.And affiliate merchant can see that payment history by the admin from the Affiliate system of his/her own panel.
