Where to find the app

The Mybigorder Seller App is currently available on Google Play Store for Android phones. You just need to go to the Play Store app on your phone, search for Mybigorder, and you will see two apps: a green one and an orange one. The green one is for customers, while the orange one is the Seller App. Choose the orange app and DOWNLOAD it.

How to register on the app

After you download the app, you will need to Register an Account as a seller or log in if you already have a seller account. Please note that when you tap on "Register Account", you will be directed to the Mybigorder website where you will need to fill in your personal and shop details. This is a simple process that takes only 1-2 minutes. Then, you can return to the app and log in with your email and password. You are now a registered seller and can start using the app's features. Once you register, you may now start uploading your products or services. Before you upload, you will be asked to purchase a package. The packages start from a FREE one which is for trial and has a limit of only 5 products. If you have more than 5 products, you are required to purchase a higher package starting from as low as 500/-. Once you purchase a package, you are now able to upload as many products or services as your package allows. Make sure you capture all product or service details i.e images, price, description, stock, and others as required.

How do I upload products?

As I mentioned before, you need to choose a suitable package and then upload your products after logging in. To upload the products, follow these steps:

•  Tap on the products tab. You will see how many products you can upload. Then tap on the plus + button with "Add New Product".

•  Enter the general product information, such as name, category (just type the product category and select it from the list), brand (type it also and select it from the list), product unit (whether the product comes in pieces (pc) or kilograms (kg)), product tags, and description. Then go to the media section at the top.

•  Upload both the gallery and thumbnail images (this is required). You can also add a YouTube video link if the product has one. Then go to the next tab with "Price & Stock".

•  Set your product price under "Unit Price" and quantity (available stock). 

You can add the meta title and description under the "SEO" section or you can leave it blank for the admin to automate it for you. Indicate your shipping timeline under "Shipping" and then tap on "Save and Publish".

•  Repeat these steps for each product that you want to upload.

I have an order, what do I do

Once you receive an order, you will be notified by SMS and email. Go to the app and tap on the order button to view the order details, contact the customer, and deliver the order.

Regularly check the messages tab on the app for any customer conversations and product queries, and directly respond to them through the app.

I have more than 5 products or services what do I do

If you have more than 5 products or services, you need to purchase a package that will accommodate the number of products or services you have. You can choose from different packages that suit your needs and budget.

Can I sell when my shop is outside Nairobi?

Yes, you can sell when your shop is outside Nairobi or anywhere in Kenya. When creating your shop, you will be asked to select your county and constituency, which makes you belong to a marketplace. However, that does not mean that your products or services will not be visible to people outside your county, the products or services will be visible to everyone who visits Mybigorder platform, and people can shop for them from all over the world.
