Excitement hit the Mybigorder team on August 26, 2021, morning. After receiving a communication that Mybigorder CEO Mr. Alphonce Juma is among the panelists at the 2021 Ecommerce Awards. Alphonce came into the limelight back in 2018 after he managed to bag the most prominent investment from the KCB Lions Den TV show.

The mobile application interface for Mybigorder made him have a deal of Sh 10 million from Joanne Mwangi, who is one of the panelists for the investment pitching show. The exchange for the deal was about 20 percent equity for the entire investment, which had a value of Sh 40million at that time. The purpose of the app is to connect customers to service providers and merchants nearest to them.

Since then, Alphonce has shown a consistent determination towards the growth of Mybigorder. As everyone knows, many people come with applications every year, but not all see the other side of success. This is because applications require much effort in terms of finances and technological support. And this is what most businesses fail to acquire, leading to their elapse.

The main reason why Mr. Juma has been consistent with the eCommerce business is that he runs a company called Oracom Group. Oracom Group has all categories of tech specialists. From web developers, programmers, and digital marketing specialists. The above team has enabled him to tap on different ideas that might have contributed massively to his growth.

Following a post on Twitter by Kenya eCommerce Awards 2021 page; It touched on other categories of digital services viable for awards. “Be inspired by top-level speakers and industry leaders including top brands, agencies, service providers, and technology companies sharing real (client) cases, best practices, and success stories.” The post dictated.

The award began back in February where the nomination was between February 1 to June 30, 2021. What followed was the judging and voting process. And eventually, the awards dinner ceremony will be held on August 27, 26, 2021 which Mybigorder CEO, Mr. Alphonce Juma, will be in attendance as one of the key panelists. Success to Mybigorder.
